back to The Slap for this week's teaser...and just so you know my first two random options were too raunchy to put up on this blog. Really do we need that much sex in one book? - not my cup-of-tea at all, actually find it a bit monotonous and therefore boring, good job we’re not all the same – wouldn’t it be a lacklustre world!
His face brightened and he turned around to face them.
Watch the road, Aisha wanted to scream at him. p 376

Too much of sex in a novel puts me off completely..
Teaser Tuesdays: 72 Virgins by Avi Perry
I am so torn about this book! It won major literary awards and praise in Australia, but everything I have heard makes me think I probably won't like it!
My teaser is here
Raunchy teasers can be fun from time time.. But I agree too much sex is a bit off-putting
Here's my teaser
Intriguing teaser. Wonder why Aisha wanted to scream at him.
good heavens, he's driving?
your right, sometimes I skip the sex parts
here's my teaser - no sex ;-)
The fact that you had difficulty finding a clean enough teaser really grabbed my interest, forget thew teaser!! What are you reading?!
You make a good point about too much sex in a book...it gets boring quickly. If it's just referred to but not described everytime that's a little better. It depends on the book though, I guess, Like Roth's "Portnoy's Complaint" It was about sex so much as about the character's genitalia and it came up alot! but that was the point and focus of the book, the character's obsession etc.
Anywa, you got my interest so great job!

Is he driving? Because then, yes, he should watch the road.
Great teaser! Here's mine.
Yup I agree.. too much is indeed just that.
My Teaser is up at The Burton Review
Watching the road is always a good thing.
I wonder what he did. Mine is here: http://www.rundpinne.com/2009/10/coppola-pediatric-surgeon-in-iraq.html
I am trying to understand the sentence "too much sex in one book" but I am having trouble with it. :) Of course, if it's monotonous sex, that's a different problem!
My teaser is here.
These comments are funny. Nice teaser!

That doesn't sound good for him...
Interesting teaser, but I think your comment about having to try to find a postable teaser is just as teasy! :)
Here's my Teaser! ~ Wendi
Interesting teaser. I'm never sure how much sexual content will ruin a book. It seems dependent on the overall quality of the writing and how well the content really fits with the story.
My teaser is up here.
A little sex in a book is fun, but I agree, too much is too much!
Here's mine.
I agree with Wendi B. I must admit I'm curious as to what The Slap is about. I'll have to go check it out right now.
Check out my teaser:

I'm not big on too much sex, some is fine, but if it gets monotonous.
Interesting teaser - glad you found something you can post :)
